Lucy Alexander has a passion for property and interiors. Having brought her first property at the age of 18, she has developed over 25 properties to date (2022). She is best known for hosting the BBC property show ‘Homes Under the Hammer’ and Channel 4’s ‘Bang on Budget.’
Off-camera, Lucy is a keen property developer renovating and building her own property portfolio.
She even designed and adapted a wheelchair friendly family home for a family who appeared on BBC1’s ‘Matron medicine & me’ after they dealt with a personal tragedy that required them to restyle their home. The programme was well-received and nominated for an RTS award. The development was also quite personal for Lucy herself who’s daughter Kitty became suddenly paralysed from a freak illness as a child when she was seven. was nominated for an RTS award
Lucy is also an avid lifestyle presenter and a regular panellist on ”The Ultimate Taste Test” with Fred Sirex, Jay Rayner & Michel Roux. Whatsmore, she is a keen animal lover and really enjoyed co-presenting ‘Lost and Found’ for Channel 4 about the Dogs Trust.
