Liam is a Northern/Yorkshire voice actor, straddling that fine line between ‘RP’ with ‘a hint of northern-ness.’ His voice is perfect if you want a gentle northern, friendly, ‘boy next door’ trustworthy and approachable quality; regional, but not ‘too’ regional. And of course, he can ‘northern-or-posh-up’ as much as you like.
After an Irish accent? No problem! Liam can also perform a very convincing Irish accent too!
With an exceptional ear for accents, no accent or character is a problem. He was nominated for a BAFTA for playing an 80-year-old Middlesex ex-serviceman. Other nominations/awards include all the audio industry gongs; AUDIE, SOVAS, triple-nominated at the One Voice Awards and more.
Liam has recorded over 1000 commercials and over 100 audiobooks – from everything from ancient history to romance, classics to modern European politics. He is highly experienced in all fields of voiceover including documentary, IVR, e-learning, dubbing and more.
His recent film and television work includes Peterloo (with Mike Leigh), Coronation Street, Death Defying Acts, and theatre for the most prestigious companies; including Manchester’s Royal Exchange, Sheffield Crucible, Soho Theatre, Edinburgh Lyceum, Nabokov, New Vic and many more.
