As someone who has relied on her voice throughout her career, Liverpudlian Voiceover Artist Jane W. is an experienced, professional performer.
She is a trained actor who works from her custom-built home studio, providing bespoke audio to suit your requirements. Jane’s voice is described as warm, engaging, and smooth, and her playing age range is versatile, ranging from 20 to 50.
With her natural gentle Northern accent, she performs a conversational, friendly read particularly well. She often works with her Liverpool or general ‘Northern’ accents for that truly authentic, relatable style, but is just as comfortable working with an RP / Neutral British accent.
In 2024, Jane won the VOX award for Best Human Performance in an Audio Drama / Podcast, playing Claire Graves in the Short Tales Sounds series Killing Time – Chapter One – A Change of Fate, available on Spotify.

Jane has always loved performing; she grew up near Liverpool, surrounded by musicians and first took to the stage to sing at the tender age of just 7.
After completing her Theatre degree she went on to work in Radio and TV in Hertfordshire and London. She began working as a full time VO four years ago and has since voiced hundreds of projects for clients across the world, including household names like Ikea, Linda McCartney foods, BBC Podcasts and the NHS.
Jane was nominated for a prestigious SOVAS award in 2021 for Best Audiobook Narration and loves creating characters for Audiobooks, Videogames and Audio dramas. As a fully trained teacher, explainers and e-learning are a piece of cake, and her regular narration work for the NOA news app means she’s excellent at delivering high quality – fast!
So, whether you need an aged Yorkshire garden gnome character voice (yes, she’s done that one) or a news reader style RP narration – or anything in-between – Jane’s huge range and versatility will definitley hit the spot!
Clients: Age UK, BBC Podcasts, Ikea, Liverpool FC, NHS, RSPCA, Royal College of Nursing, Linda McCartney Foods
