As a professional actor, Debra’s career has spanned over 2 decades, so she’s comfortable fitting into any role.
Debra played Frankie Baldwin on Coronation Street from 2004-2006, a role which earned her a nomination for Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards (NTA’s). She also had a lead role in ITV’s Bad Girls for which she also received nominations at the NTA’s for Best Actress in 1999 and 2000.
Debra also voiced many characters for the BBC 4 comedy sketch show Dead Ringers. She was the voice of Melania Trump as well as Lady Margaret in the 2019 animated movie The Queen’s Corgi, and voices Eefa the witch in the CBBC animated series Scream Street.
Debra voiced Queen Elizabeth II for the 2020 Spitting Image remake for TV streaming service Britbox. Also in 2020, Debra was the voice actor behind the deepfake version of the Queen’s Alternative Christmas Day Message on Channel 4.
As a popular TV personality, Debra has appeared on a variety of evening entertainment shows such as The Friday Night Project, 8 Out of 10 Cats and a Christmas special of Strictly Come Dancing. She also participated in Lets Dance for Sports Relief in 2010 and Sports Relief Top Dog in 2014.
