From Edinburgh to LA – Scottish TV host Catherine McQueen now with Great British Presenters

27th Oct 2017

Catherine is a talented experienced Scottish TV host, DJ and live events presenter with worldwide experience.

Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland Catherine began modelling at the age of 16 after being chosen as a finalist for the Elite Model Look Competition.

On graduating with a degree in Law and Business she was offered a 2-month contract to model in Tokyo. She accepted thinking she would take one year out to model full time before settling back into the legal profession. However, 2 months in Tokyo led to 2 years in Asia followed by another couple of years in Milan, London and New York with Catherine being the face of world-class brands such as Christian Dior, Wonder Bra, FHM, Maxim, Tatler, GQ, Marie Claire, Elle and Harpers and Queen.

She managed to make the move from model to presenter after being chosen to work on a popular TV show called the Big Breakfast. The producers decided that they would use the same models every week and make them part of the show allowing them to “speak”.

Scottish TV host went on TV presenting jobs including MTV, ESPN, Sky Vegas, Fashion TV and Al Jazeera Sport whom she has also produced shows for.

Catherine also appeared in Die Another Day and roles in The Bill and Judge John Deed.
