Introducing News Correspondent Rosanna Lockwood

Rosanna Lockwood is a British television presenter and journalist with significant experience working for major international news organisations in places as far and wide as the Middle East, Russia and Asia.

Her experience includes being an Anchor and Correspondent for CNBC International where she split her time between London and Singapore, breaking real-time news across core topics such as economics, geopolitics and energy, for a global audience. Since 2020, she’s been fronting Squawk Box and Street Signs programming across Europe and Asia, alongside providing market reporting for U.S CNBC, MSNBC and the wider NBC network.

Rosanna has a specialist interest in finance and business news and previously worked for Bloomberg TV in London as a producer on their flagship mid-morning show. She moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2015 where she worked as a TV news correspondent for Reuters, covering Gulf business and stock markets, as well as developing a career as a chairperson and live event moderator. She has reported from on board an aircraft carrier in the Singapore Strait and outside Downing Street in London. She combines natural and skilled presentation with specialist insights and well-honed interviewing techniques to talk Nobel Prize-winning scientists, best-selling authors, senior bankers and politicians.

Her expertise in live news presenting means she is used to working to strict deadlines and handling high-pressure situations. Clients trust her to confidently steer their events and to respond to the ever-changing needs of her audience, whilst being professional, friendly and easy to work with.

Away from the Camera:

Rosanna was born in Hong Kong as a British citizen and then mostly grew up in the southwest of England. She graduated with a BA degree in English Literature and Drama from Royal Holloway University of London in 2009 and started her career in financial communications.

Rosanna qualified as a journalist in 2013, with a BJTC-accredited postgraduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the London College of Communication, and began her journalism career as a freelance radio reporter and producer for the BBC, LBC and ITN.

Outside of her work, Rosanna is a keen traveller and has visited more than 50 countries for personal and professional exploits. She is learning Russian and is a keen amateur polo player.

Rosanna is also available for speaking engagements as a moderator and host at Great British Speakers.
