Each year there are a number of event days that help to raise awareness of cancers and the symptoms to watch out for. March is both Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.

Clive Branson’s own diagnosis of prostate cancer makes him one of our most motivational speakers on the topic. In 2017, Clive was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and subsequently lost his career, income, confidence and was starting to lose his identity. But more recently, Clive was given the devastating diagnosis of stage two prostate cancer. Unfortunately, his Motor Neurone disease means that doctors cannot operate. Today, Clive’s mission now is to actively demonstrate that we do have the ability to overcome adversity. Resilience, Hope and Positivity are crucial words in his vocabulary. He is a truly inspirational speaker who can connect emotionally with any audience also struggling with a diagnosis.
Dr Mark Porter MBE, is an award-winning BBC journalist and NHS doctor. He currently presents Radio 4’s flagship medical series Inside Health and reports on medical issues for BBC1’s The One Show. He is also a columnist for The Times.
Dr Rangan Chatterjee is currently regarded as one of the most influential doctors in the UK and has been called a pioneer in modern medicine, looking at the ways we practise medicine by challenging the ways that we look at illness. Dr Rangan is a captivating and inspirational speaker who can offer unique talks on how to take back control of your life after diagnosis. Yomi Adegoke is an ambassador for gynaecological cancer charity the Eve Appeal and often speaks at their events. As a multi-award winning journalist, presenter and social commentator, Yomi is a popular speaker for festivals and prestigious panels events such as Guardian Fresh Voices, The British Library and Intelligence Squared.
Dr Nighat Arif is a family GP specialising in women’s health. Dr Nighat is confident in front of an audience and has hosted women’s health workshops and keynote speeches across the country. A popular TV doctor, her natural ability to connect with an audience has not gone unnoticed, seeing her get regularly booked for talks on the more sensitive subjects.
Dr Zoe Williams is a practising NHS GP and media medical advisor, with accolades such as being named on Pulse Power 50 as one of the country’s most influential GP’s. Outside of the surgery Zoe is a National Advisor for Public Health England and is a clinical advisor to the RCGP. Lauren Mahon is a self-made female boss who took a devastating breast cancer diagnosis and: turned it into an online platform with a following of thousands, started a fundraising community that raises significant amounts of money that goes directly to help fellow cancer sufferers; created a successful merchandise company. And also started a number one podcast!
