Ben the Builder! Building trade presenter Ben on location.

Ben has been out on location in deepest Derbyshire presenting a range of trade building products.
Ben has been on location in challenging conditions with the environment against him and the crew.
Ben says: “We had to be patient for good shooting opportunities at times due to battling the planes from the nearby airport and noisy tradesmen hammering away but the whole crew worked together as a team and I think we all left happy and satisfied with the results”.
They were shooting in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside with for Wavin, producing several videos surrounding their Osma product range.
Fortunately, though he benefitted from fantastic weather both days with an excellent crew.
Ben’s building experience, extensive property knowledge and background stood him in good stead really feeling at home in the environment.
They filmed footage for a number of instructional and promotional videos for the building products, on location at a prestigious newbuild development.
Ben’spresenting role was to not only talk around the products but to show and display their best features in addition to talking about the relevant industry background.
He was also charged with demonstrating how to prepare and install several of the products in some ‘How To’ video guides.
“We tried to bring some more advanced dynamics to the scenes rather than just static shots through multi-tasking, practical skills and great close up demo shots plus some walk & talk moments, while simultaneously reading autocue thrown in for good measure,” said Ben.
Ben is typical of the ‘can do’ approach of all our presenters, in fact, Ben did a ‘self-tape’ to audition for the role and even got dressed in his building clobber and hard hat to convince the production company he was the guy for them!
All in all a professional and enjoyable project for all concerned.
